Shura Council member Dr Aisha Al Mubarak stressed on the honorable Turkish positions toward Bahrain, noting that the Bahraini people cannot forget the stance of the Turkish Prime Minister and the Leader of the Justice and Development Party, Receb Tayyip Erdogan with respect to the events that took place in Bahrain or in the Arab States and its support for its constitutional legitimacy, stability and security in the country and his rejection of any external pressure exerted against the Bahraini people.

This came during the presenting of Dr Aisha a trophy to the Turkish PM Erdogan on the occasion of taking part in the International Conference on the role of women in changing Muslim societies under the auspices of Erdogan, in Istanbul.
