Under the auspices of Republic of Turkey Prime Minister Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN and hosted by Minister of Family and Social Policy Mrs. Fatma SAHIN with the collaboration of General Secretary of OIC Mr. Ekmeleddin IHSANOGLU and General Secretary of PUIC Mr. Mahmut Erol KILIC, 20 ministers from OIC member countries and 230 parliamentarians, academicians, NGO representatives came together for the International Conference on Change in Muslim Societies and the Role of Women.
A high level meeting in which OIC member countries’ ministers took speeches upon the problems that women face with in the society and 4 sessions upon different topics were held during the International Conference on Change in Muslim Societies and the Role of Women in 22-24 December 2011.
After the conference, Draft Conference Final Declaration was announced and shared with participants.
